Billy immersed himself in life.He lived in a busy world of career family and hobbies.
Not all of us are called by God to have these gifts.
Billy’s gifting could be intimidating.
There really was not anything he could not do or learn to do.
I had the privilege of knowing Lila and thus Billy as a young single girl stepping off a plane from Italy but being born and raised in England 38 years ago.
I met Lila in a Body and soul aerobics class in Great Falls.
Lila became a Christian thru this class.
Billy followed on as God called him to himself thru being in a very precarious fire.
He asked God to save his life and God literally did in body and soul.
I spent many days riding in Great Falls and Louisa.
Billy would emerge from his work shop tools in hand asking (barking what he needed Lila to do before we took off).
We came back eventually to eat chicken salad on their dining room table Billy would emerge.
Decorations for the season in hand ready to decorate.
He would always stand nevervsit and chat and chat .
Trump was the latest at the time.
My last two poignant memories will always be my red Toyota van 330,000 miles on.
He asked,”How many miles does that thing have?”Wow.”
I came back from riding and he had fixed a flapping back panel on that jalopy without asking.
Seeing that drove him nuts.
The most recent memory is 2924 Summer when my grand daughter and Eliza their granddaughter were spending the night at their home with me also.Billy wanted to ensure Bella was comfortable and found the camp bed in the secret room and set it up.
Next morning he and I always up early he went to see the donkey.
He stated often over years,” I hate these animals.”
I hear him talking to Buster stroking him.I smiled.
Billy Fitz I love you brother in Christ.
I know our paths crossed by God’s grace.
I will never be the same lost British single girl because of you and Lila.
How I will miss your smile,your long passionate chats about Trump and other subjects.
God allowed us all especially Lila the boys and Shelby to love a God gifted,stubborn man who loved family,the fire department and others.
One day brother I will see you again.
Until then know I will care,love ,pray and support Lila and boys how ever I humanly can.Matt 25 v 23
