And so life introduced us to Billy Fitz and how lucky we were both to know him and then able to call him a friend. Conversely, how unfortunate are they who never had that privilege. It is without question that the public safety services that inhabit Montgomery County, MD, Washington, DC, Chambersburg, PA and Gordonsville, VA, that he touched, are better for having him among their ranks. Billy was, simply, one of the very best. RIP.
