Billy always had fire trucks it seemed. My favorite was one of his first, a red one with old fashioned curved bumpers. I really liked the style but it was pretty old and soon the yellow hose truck replaced it. My nephew was two or three the first time I remember bringing him to see it. You let him stand in the cab and ring the bell (loudly!). Cam loved it! When my children got big enough they too loved to see it. My horse was intimidated by trees and large rock piles but not fire engines! Parades were a regular event for you and one year Morgan, Keegan, John and I attended the saint patricks day parade with you. I was terrified someone would fall out on the parkway going 50 miles an hour to DC! But you said it was safe so I trusted you and that tiny chain to keep us from hurtling out. I held onto Keegan so tight. The parade was really nice too. It was fun riding on top of the fire hoses on the top of the truck and seeing all the parade. The kids loved it! So cool!
